Africa-Press – Angola. The chosen players who will travel tomorrow to Maputo, capital of Mozambique, will be known today at the end of training. The information was provided to press by head coach Julián Martínez.

Today, the police have their last stand before leaving the country tomorrow around 7:30 am for the competition stage. Of the fifteen players who are at the service of Rocha Pinto’s team, Julián Martínez will remove three players who will remain on home soil.

The decision to elect the chosen ones for Maputo will not be an easy task judging by the quality and commitment of the athletes throughout the preparation,

“We’re going to have to make decisions at the end of training. It’s going to cost us a lot more, it has to be like this. At the end of training, my assistants and I will meet and define the players who will go to Maputo. In general, we are satisfied with the good preparation I also have to thank the club management for giving us all the working conditions and hiring the four players. I’m talking about the Angolans Rosa Gala and Cristina Matiquite and the Americans Alexis Tolefree and Sherise Williams”

In the first sorting, the helmsman removed base Jane Balanga and winger Francisca Mateus, both assigned to Interclube-B. Today, the fifty-two-year-old coach guides the last training session, where at the end he will define the chosen ones who will travel to Mozambique.

Anxiety reigns among the players to know who will be left out and who will travel to the land of former president Samora Machel. The bases Regina Pequeno, Conceição Caetano and Tatiana Jamba are already out. Lastly, he tore ligaments in his right knee in the last match of the independence tournament, organized by the board of 1o de Agosto.

The base is awaiting surgery at one of the capital’s clinics and must face a stoppage of approximately six months. In the shipyard there are also the pole Angelina Golome and the extreme Felizarda Jorge the four units are casualties for the police team.
