Africa-Press – Angola. The international companies participating in the 40th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA/2025) on Sunday expressed their satisfaction on business environment, opportunities for cooperation and prospecting for partnerships provided by the event.

Some foreign exhibitors interviewed, have stressed that the organization of FILDA exceeded expectations by promoting a solid platform for economic exchange between foreign investors and players in the Angolan market.

The real estate consultant of the Portuguese company RE/MAX Collection, Tar Tar, considered that the presence of the brand at the event was a unique opportunity to strengthen relations with the Angolan market.

He said that several strategic contacts were made with agents in the sector, reflecting the growing interest in the luxury real estate segment in Portugal.

He also stressed that the participation opened up good prospects for the establishment of partnerships and the development of bilateral business.

RE/MAX Collection is a company of the RE/MAX network in Portugal, dedicated to the luxury real estate market, with a strong international presence.

In turn, the vice president of sales of the Portuguese group Mindol, Miguel Cunha, said that the six days of the fair were very positive, allowing promising contacts that already put into perspective the possibility of building a factory in Angola.

Mindol, specialized in rest systems such as mattresses, bed frames, headboards, bases and pillows, intends to strengthen its presence in Angola as a strategic point of expansion.

In the case of Italy, which participated with 16 companies, the Embassy market analyst, Adão Agostinho, informed that the representations covered sectors such as agriculture, fruit processing, transport technologies, irrigation and agriculture.

According to the official, some of these companies have already expressed interest in setting up in Angola, in line with the objective of the Promotion Office of the Italian Embassy, which aims to attract companies that contribute to the diversification of the Angolan economy.

“These companies come to FILDA in search of potential customers and strategic partners, with a view to their effective entry into the national market”, he stressed.

Indonesia, represented by five companies, also highlighted the gains made at the fair.

According to the Embassy consultant, Bah Yusuf, the companies present in the food, natural medicine, agriculture and clothing sectors, expressed strong interest in establishing commercial and operational partnerships in Angola.

“We were able to keep in touch with several Angolan companies interested in cooperating in the marketing of Indonesian products in the country,” he stressed.

The 40th edition of the Angola International Fair (FILDA2025), held in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), was attended by representatives from 18 countries and 2,194 exhibitors, 24% more than in 2024.

According to data from the organization, Angola participated with 87% of companies, whose main sectors are Trade and Distribution, with 11%, Food and Beverage Industry (9%), Extractive Industry (8%), Services (6%), Agribusiness (3%), Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock (7%), Software and Technologies (7%), Oil & Gas (5%) and Construction and Public Works, with 7%.
