Africa-Press – Angola. Musicians André Mingas, Teta Lando and Waldemar Bastos will be honored, this year, posthumously, within the framework of the Trajectória Project, implemented by Palácio de Ferro.
The information was provided by the general director of Palácio de Ferro, João Vigário, during a conference to review the 2023 activities and presentation of the 2024 agenda, held last Thursday, in Luanda.
According to João Vigário, the aforementioned project aims to perpetuate the artists’ achievements as entities that promote cultural identity and participate in the construction of a collective memory.
He informed that alongside these artists, Carlos Burity, Jacinto Tchipa, Beto de Almeida, Bangão, Lurdes Van-Dúnem and Belita Palma will be honored posthumously.
The tribute program starts in March and will include shows with songs by the honorees.
He made it known that during the last year, 376 activities were carried out, in which 4,026 artists participated, involving 45,680 people.
