Africa-Press – Angola. The JFNLA, the youth arm of the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA), will start today a massive youth recruitment campaign to strengthen the organisation’s ranks, announced the national secretary for Information, Mobilization and Propaganda.
Gonçalves Pedro Buca, who provided the information during a press conference held at the FNLA headquarters in Luanda, said that the objective “is to triple the number of young people in the organization to give a new dynamic to the internal life of the party”.
According to the politician, currently the organization has been reduced to approximately 3 thousand young people, present throughout the national territory, which is why he prepared this plan to revitalize the basic structures, with emphasis on “the so-called new blood”.
The youth recruitment and mobilization campaign, announced on Saturday, will also be carried out door-to-door. To ensure the permanence of young people in the organization, the JFNLA has a 2022-2026 strategic plan, which includes several actions. Secretary Gonçalves Pedro Buca made it known that it will involve training young people, with a view to helping them gain access to their first job and create skills in the field of youth entrepreneurship.
