The announcement was made with a welcome message posted on the Academy’s Twitter, which reads “Welcome back”, while Jimmy Kimmel joked about the situation, saying he was “grateful for inviting me so quickly, after all the better candidates said no”, he said, quoted by Notícias ao Minuto, which refers to the comedian’s statements to Rolling Stone magazine. This will be the 95th edition of the Oscars.
