Africa-Press – Angola. Seven senior male and female athletes from the province of Moxico will make their debut in the Angola Jiu-Jitsu Cup, to be held this Saturday, 7th, in the province of Luanda.

These are athletes Valdemiro Ambrósio, Jackson Caiombo, Chile Piedade, Venâncio Bonifácio, Angelino Machado, Simão Pedro and Paixão Litenga, aged between 20 and 27 years old in the 56 to 94 kilogram categories, who will be sponsored by Bravos do Maquis .

The president of the Provincial Jiu-Jitsu Association in Moxico, Belarmino Kapata, said that the aforementioned athletes were the ones who stood out the most in the provincial championship, which took place last August.

The Provincial Jiu-jitsu Association, formalized in March 2023, controls more than 100 athletes, distributed across 14 schools and academies, in the municipalities of Moxico (provincial headquarters) and Luau.
