Africa-Press – Angola. In this afternoon’s training, under the guidance of coach Cláudio Machado, from the traditional version, physical aspects were also worked on to assess the athletes’ resistance capacity.
For the Brazilian version, guided by Yuri Gomez, the work also focused on improving resistance and psychological aspects, as a prevention of possible pressure from the host public.
Preparation takes place on a bi-daily basis, in the Cidadela Sports Pavilion. The two pre-selections return to work today.
In addition to Angola, the participation of the teams from Congo Brazzaville, Ethiopia, Mauritania and the DRC are confirmed. Here are the squad for the Brazilian male version:
