Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of JMPLA acting in Cune-ne, Galartino Lázaro, appealed to young people to register and update electoral data. The province has 20 One-Stop Public Service Desks (BUAP) and mobile posts in hard-to-reach areas, in 20 communes and six municipalities.
Galartino Lázaro made the appeal, Sunday, during the provincial act to launch the special JMPLA growth campaign, within the framework of achieving the goals and objectives of the organization’s program plan for the period 2019/2024
He recalled that it is the last month of the completion of the Official Electoral Registration process, so young people who have not yet registered should take advantage of the period to have the opportunity to exercise their right to vote in the General Elections.
The leader of the youth organization of the MPLA oriented the militants to intensify the actions of sensitization of the citizens in the districts and localities, for the affluence to the electoral registration process.
On the other hand, he said that the permanent growth of the JMPLA constitutes one of the fundamental tasks to justify the quantitative and qualitative greatness of the organization as a “nursery” for future cadres and party leaders.
He explained that the campaign aims to prepare and educate young Angolans and place them in a perspective to strengthen the party. Galartino Lázaro invited the youth to assume a civic, patriotic, solidary stance and noble initiatives that contribute to people’s well-being, the fight against illiteracy, road accidents and delinquency.
