Africa-Press – Angola. The state of bilateral relations between Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo dominated, on Wednesday afternoon, the telephone conversation between Presidents João Lourenço and Félix Tshisekedi, from an official source.
After being sworn in as President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Félix Tshisekedi chose Angola to carry out his first state visit.
Angola and DRC, member states of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the International Conference for the Great Lakes Region (CIRGL), maintain high-level contacts on issues related to peace, stability and security in the region.
On the other hand, the two countries share 2,511 kilometers of common border.
