Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, announced, Thursday, in Luanda that the Higher Education sector in the country will have adequate infrastructure, similar to what is happening in the Health sector, underlining that it is one of the priorities in his next term in case of victory in the elections of the 24th of August.
I will look carefully at the need to improve the working conditions of higher education professionals and students who end up being the users of these institutions, said the Head of State at a press conference to the public and private media.
On the other hand, the President of the Republic also highlighted that the country will save a lot of resources with the consumption of diesel fuel with the conclusion of works on some hydroelectric infrastructures.
“Another area that will receive special attention is the rehabilitation and construction of national roads. And, if we manage to mobilize the private sector for public-private partnerships, we must now think about motorways, above all to connect with neighboring countries, namely the Democratic Republic of Congo, Namibia and Zambia”, highlighted João Lourenço.
