Africa-Press – Angola. The Head of State, João Lourenço, visited the pharmaceutical city in Cairo on Tuesday, as part of a two-day official visit to the country. The President of the Republic, accompanied by the First Lady, Ana Dias Lourenço, received information on the functioning of this infrastructure in the health sector.
According to information gathered Online, the infrastructure called “Gypto Pharma” is considered the largest pharmaceutical city in the entire Middle East region, with a production capacity of almost 150 million packages of medicines per year.
The pharmaceutical city “Gypto pharma” is built on a space of 180,000 m2, divided into two large factories, which include 20 production lines in which all pharmaceutical forms are manufactured, including tablets, capsules, effervescents, syrups, pharmaceutical products, and creams, using the most advanced technology in pharmaceutical manufacturing in the world.
