Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José Massano, chaired, this Wednesday, in Luanda, the meeting of the Supervision and Coordination Committee of the National System for the Prevention and Combat of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism.
At the end of the meeting, the director-general of the Angolan Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), Gilberto Capeça, clarified that Angola is not on the “grey list” of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), but on the monitoring list of that body responsible for global oversight.
Gilberto Moisés Capeça reinforced that the country is only in a process of reinforced monitoring by the Financial Action Task Force.
