Africa-Press – Angola. A book entitled “Chronicando com a Participação Criminosa – Chronicles and legal-criminal articles of a free citizen”, by the Angolan jurist Marcelino Baptista, was launched Friday in the country’s capital.

The work, the first of its kind by the Public Prosecutor, has 162 pages and contains important tools for the reader, divided into two parts, the first of which presents chronicles and the second of articles.

Marcelino Baptista said that the part of the chronicle reflected various themes of society and everyday life, discussing the family, vicissitudes that law students go through in academia and themes with a religious bent.

He advanced that the reader can find matters of law in a colloquial, simple and literary language, using stylistic resources without losing technical and scientific rigor, because there are many difficulties for people to understand the so-called “juridiqueis” (heavy language).

He said he also addressed the role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office as an inspector of legality.

According to the jurist, this book was conceived for students, law professionals, sociologists, psychologists, religious people, among others.

Marcolino Baptista has a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Angola, specializing in Legal-Forensics and Legal-Economics.

He has a postgraduate degree in Criminal Law and Medicine: Current and Perennial Issues, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, Portugal.

He is a magistrate of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Military Forum, assigned to the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the 6th Division of the Southern Military Region (Matala – Huíla).
