Africa-Press – Angola. Kabuscorp do Palanca drew 0-0 Wednesday, in Luanda, against Carmona do Uige, in a match for the 9th round of the Zonal qualifying for the next National Championship (Girabola2023/24), played at Estádio da Glória (AFA).
Despite playing in their stronghold, the “palanquina” formation from the capital of the country was unable to overcome the representative of the province of Uige, it remains in the lead of Group A, with 20 points.
In the other match of the same series, São Salvador do Kongo from the province of Zaire beat Kicosse de Cabinda, by 2-1, in the Álvaro Buta field, with goals from Silva (46′) and Lutumba (77′), discounted by Jójó (17′). With this triumph, São Salvador do Kongo has 19 points, in second place.
The Luanda City team visited and drew 1-1 with Nzanje FC from Cuanza Norte, at the Dinises venue, with goals scored by Manoxe (70′) and Tonilson (74′).
For Group B, União de Malanje beat Desportivo do Quela, from the same province, by 1-0, with a solitary goal by Osmane (60′). The first place in this pairing, Ferrovia do Huambo, with 17 points, was off due to the calendar.
It should be noted that the competition is being played in the system of all against all at the level of the two groups, qualifying for Girabola the first two classified in each group, and the third will come out of a “liguilha”, involving the two second of each series.
