Africa-Press – Angola. The final of the third edition of the Kids Talent Awards (KTA), whose gala for the announcement of the winners will take place tomorrow, at 4 pm, at the Royal Plaza, in Luanda, this year counts with the participation of 100 children and adolescents.
The finalists, aged between six and 17, enrolled in groups and individually, were chosen from 377 applications by a jury made up of journalists and artists. This edition is a tribute to the Centenary of Agostinho Neto.
The director of KTA, Celina Coluna, told Jornal de Angola yesterday that the number of finalists does not reflect the dispute in the categories. “There are classes with smaller numbers than expected and some applications do not meet the required requirements”, she explained, adding that the Radio and TV categories have the largest number of candidates.
Among the categories in competition at the Kids Talent Awards are music, theater, dance, poetry, cinema, visual arts, literature and production of children’s events. This year, the competition takes place under the motto “Neto, Seu Legado present in the art of children”.
