Africa-Press – Angola. A gallery of Angolan nationalism will be created in the second half of this year, in Luanda, by the Angolan League of Friendship and Solidarity with the Peoples (LAASP) in partnership with the African League (LA).
According to a press release from LAASP, sent on Tuesday, the gallery will include people who fought for the African cause in several countries on the continent.
The initiative will feature a permanent exhibition on the history of the liberation struggle.
The two institutions intend to create a research and research center, library, medical-social center, as well as rehabilitate the League”s school and headquarters building. They want a good coexistence, union and cooperation.
Recently, a delegation from LAASP, led by President Elisa Salvador and First Vice President Fernando Mota, met with LA, whose president is Óscar Guimarães.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the board, António dos Santos Dias, the vice-president, Carlos Lamartine, the secretary general, Victor Fortes, among other LA entities.
