Africa-Press – Angola. Geração que Lê – Poesia da Nova Angola” is the title of the poetry collection to be launched tomorrow, at 17:00, at the Mediateca 28 de Agosto, opposite the Instituto Médio Normal de Educação (IMNF) – Marista, in Luanda, as part of the Centenary of the birth of the first President of the Republic, Agostinho Neto, which is celebrated on the 17th of September.

The president of the Angola Youth Literature Brigade, Carlos Pedro, told Jornal de Angola that the collection is a literary work that brings together 70 young Angolan authors from the 18 provinces and the diaspora, in 188 pages. From the diaspora, he explains, young authors residing in Portugal and Brazil participated. He also said that, despite the participation of young authors who are members of the BJLA from the 18 provinces, some young poets from Luanda who are not members of the Angola Literature Brigade were also invited.

At one stage, he said, 2,000 copies will be put on the market. On the 19th of this month, the same book will be launched, simultaneously, in the 17 provinces of the country.
