Africa-Press – Angola. The writer Lopito Feijó made his debut this Wednesday in the world of children’s literature by launching and autographing, in Luanda, the work entitled “Doutrinas de Pitós”.
Speaking to the press, the Angolan writer said it was a book to be read by people between eight and 80 years of age.
He added that he was concerned with giving a pedagogical character because of ethics in various aspects of life that children, adolescents and young people need to know and cultivate.
The author explained that “Pitós” is his last child, who is now 25 years old, who inspired him to write the book since he was little by asking his teacher every year to write a poem to recite at school in the month dedicated to child.
“I wrote poems and they went to the chest with no intention of publishing in a book, after 20 years I put them together in a work to launch in honor of his birthday to be celebrated on the 14th of April”, he added.
He pointed out that in this work of 86 pages and 200 copies available, readers will find a varied stage in which questions of ethics, education, training, learning as a text about the vowels, watchwords, incentives, love, embrace, help, kiss, singing, washing, plowing, playing, dividing, painting, respecting, preserving, among others.
To be marketed at a price of eight thousand kwanzas, it was edited and released in Portugal, in September 2022, and is already being contacted by the publisher to proceed with the second edition.
Lopito Feijó, is the literary pseudonym of João André da Silva Feijó, was born on September 29, 1963, in Lombo, province of Malanje, has a degree in Law from the Agostinho Neto University.
He woke up to poetry at the age of 22 (1985), when he published his first book of poems “Entre o Écran e o Esperma”, which, as a result of great acceptance, received an honorable mention in the Camarada Presidente literature competition, promoted by INALD (National Book and Disc Institute).
