Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, analyzed, Wednesday (19), in Luanda, with the Brazilian ambassador, Rafael de Mello, the preparations for holding the 7th Joint Commission, with a focus on establishing a consensus date. .

The meeting, taking place in Brasília, is initially scheduled for November this year. At that time, the two Governments were working on the agenda, at a time when the Brazilian diplomat announced the next meeting of the South Atlantic Peace and Cooperation Zone (ZOPACAS), to be held in Cape Verde, reiterating Angola’s support for the candidacy from Brazil to the International Court of Justice.

At the opening of the third meeting of the High Level Bilateral Commission between Angola and Brazil, held in the Angolan capital, the head of Angolan diplomacy highlighted the potential of the partner, which has one of the largest economies in South America.

Brazil is a country with a competitive, diversified market and extensive experience in the agriculture, food industry and aeronautics sectors.

Cooperation between the two countries began to take shape on June 11, 1980, with the signing of the Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation Agreement.

Under this agreement, Angola and Brazil developed their cooperation in the areas of health, culture, public administration, professional training, education, environment, sports, statistics and agriculture.
