Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan capital, Luanda, will host, on the 9th of this month, the 14th Forum on Energy, Water and Environment for Young Entrepreneurs of the European Union (JEUNE), with a view to improving the business environment in these sectors and strengthening partnerships business.
The event, to be promoted by JEUNE, in collaboration with the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), serves as a precursor to the “FIN Business Forum Angola”, taking place next July.
According to the president of this association, Alberto de Carvalho, the forum also aims to exchange experiences between young entrepreneurs and study the best solutions to contribute to the country’s economic diversification process.
In a press conference, held this Thursday, at ZEE, the source said that participants in the event will reflect on issues related to energy, water and environmental infrastructures, factors that serve as a driving force for any economy.
He also added that the forum will address the sustainability of these sectors, to find the best solutions and apply them for the development of companies and the good of communities, in general, with the involvement of national and international companies, as well as the State.
He recalled that the event began in Europe and Asia, and is currently held in several African countries.
In turn, the executive administrator of ZEE, Adriano Borja, highlighted that the institution and national companies will make the most of the event, as it is a critical sector in the development of companies and the production of goods and services.
According to him, ZEE sees this event as an opportunity to reinforce the production of clean energy, access and consumption of drinking water, as well as to address the conservation of biodiversity, climate change and the reuse of solid waste.
