Africa-Press – Angola. The Instituto Superior Politécnico Lueji A´nkonde (ISPLA) may be transformed into a university unit in the near future, announced yesterday in Saurimo, the provincial governor of Lunda-Sul, Daniel Félix Neto.
The governor, who was speaking during a meeting held with the ISPLA board, teachers and students, stressed that, for the materialization of this desideratum, it is necessary to speed up the elaboration of structuring projects.
For this reason, Daniel Félix Neto visited the institute’s structure, where he received detailed information about its functioning, highlighting the difficulty that students face due to the scarcity of classrooms and other conditions for quality education.
In this regard, the governor stressed the need to preserve the current building, which is over 15 years old, despite its technical limitations, having assured that the framework will change soon. “We are going to implement actions aimed at growth and a new dynamic required from higher education institutions”.
ISPLA has already launched more than 2,150 graduates into the job market, according to Fidel Sonhi Manassa, coordinator of the institution’s Management Committee.
