Africa-Press – Angola. The vice-president of the MPLA, Luísa Damião, reaffirmed in the municipality of Chibia, Huíla province, that the ruling party will continue to work to increasingly improve the population’s living conditions, a commitment that is made daily.
The leader, who was speaking at an assembly of activists, on Friday, stated that the MPLA remains committed to the people, because the party’s strength lies in the population, therefore, the commitment to it is serious and the population’s problems can only be resolved resolve with work.
Luísa Damião declared that everyone has a responsibility to put Angola on the development path, to offer a better country for new generations.
For the vice-president, the MPLA has strong capital, because it counts on the strength and vitality of women, on the experience of the elderly, but also on the creativity of young people, a potential must be harnessed and put in favor of Angola .
“We have to develop our country ourselves, especially now that we want to seriously invest in national production to reduce imports”, he reinforced.
Among the concerns expressed by the activists, the political leader pointed out those linked to the lack of water that the municipality faces in the absence of rain, which is why she will advocate with the ministerial department to find a solution.
He called on members to denounce the vandalization of public assets, as they are everyone’s equipment and putting Angola on the development path means taking better care of public assets.
The vice-president of the MPLA in Chibia, in addition to the assembly of activists, visited the party’s municipal committee, delivered food and suppliesinputs agricultural, as well as x-rayed the structure of the new local administration, built within the framework of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities.
Luísa’s visit to the province, in addition to being part of the Solidarity Christmas, is serving to assess compliance with the party’s internal life guidelines, as well as to x-ray projects at a social level, in order to assess the impact of same in the lives of populations.
