Africa-Press – Angola. Labor activity in the Civil Service will be suspended on February 28 and March 7, due to the national holidays commemorating Carnival (March 1) and International Women’s Day (March 8).
As a result, an hour and a half is added to the daily working period in the Civil Service between the 17th and 25th of the current month, as well as on the 2,3rd and 4th of March of this year.
In a note, the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS) clarifies that the dates will be celebrated on Tuesday, giving way to the bridge and the consequent suspension of work activity on the previous day, workers who work are excluded from this law. in shift mode.
The provisions are set out in paragraphs 1 and 2 of article of Law nº 11/18 of 28 September (which amends articles 2, 3 and 6 of law nº 10/14 of 10 February – Law on National and Local Holidays and Dates of National Celebration.
