Africa-Press – Angola. Municipal administrators in the province of Moxico are improving their management skills regarding the licensing of activities in the Portal do Munícipe (PM), revenue collection and the module for granting land rights.

To be promoted by the Ministries of Finance and Territory Administration, the training action, lasting 15 days, aims to train managers in terms of licensing activities in the sectors of Commerce, Industry, Transport, Energy, service stations and sales of petroleum derivatives.

Speaking at the meeting, the technician from the national department of the Ministry of Territory Administration, Adolfo Ricardo, said that the II training phase falls within the scope of the process of transferring competences to the State’s local administration bodies.

Through this training action, he said, managers will be able to master the new modules inserted in the Citizen’s Portal, in order to respond quickly to citizens’ requests.

The Deputy Governor for the Technical and Infrastructure sphere, Wilson Augusto, said that this action will guarantee efficiency in the State’s services before the citizens, promising commitment from the administrators for the improvement of the citizens’ lives.

The Municipality Portal was launched in 2021 to monitor the entire process of collecting fees, licenses and fines, resulting from services that local administrations provide.
