Africa-Press – Angola. Three agents assigned to the National Police were sentenced Monday, in the municipality of Dala (Lunda Sul) to one year and six months in prison, by the Military Court of the 3rd Division of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA) of the East Region, indicted for the crimes of desertion, loss of military goods and forgery of documents (medical prescriptions).
The director of the Institutional Communication and Press Office of the Delegation of the Interior, Florêncio de Almeida, explained that the trial of the agents began on May 7th of the current year, ending yesterday with the sentence, according to the article 6 of Law 4/94, of January 28, on Military Crimes.
He underlined that such practice aims to discourage other members of the National Police to give up these practices, in obedience to the public service.
The act was witnessed by senior officers of the National Police and FAA staff.
