Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Victor Fernandes, reaffirmed the importance of increasing national production with quality as a way of mitigating “possible tsunamis at an international level”.
Victor Fernandes, who was speaking on Friday, in Luanda, during the first edition of CaféCIPRA, an initiative of the Press Center of the Presidency of the Republic, added that the increase in domestic production through agriculture associated with industry is the secret to putting the country in a zone of tranquility.
“We are a small economy in a globalized world and we will always suffer the effects when large economies are stressed”, said the minister.
According to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, it is in this context that the local business community must position itself, noting that the country has land, water and youth to work with.
