Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, paid tribute this Tuesday, in Luanda, to the memory of the President of Namibia, Hage Geingob, who died last Sunday due to illness.
According to a press release, Téte António, at the Namibian Embassy in Luanda, where he signed the Book of Condolences, wrote that Hage Geingob was one of Namibia’s most valuable sons.
He highlighted that the deceased dedicated his entire life to the noblest causes of his country, from the liberation struggle to the consolidation of independence, towards development.
He expressed his condolences to the Namibian people, the State and the bereaved family, wishing that President Hage Geingob’s soul rests in peace.
Hage Geingob passed away in the early hours of Sunday, at the age of 82, a victim of illness, at Lady Pohamba hospital, in the Namibian capital, Windhoek.
