Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, represents the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, at the 42nd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Southern African organization SADC, which will take place on the 17th and 18th of this month, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Before leaving for the city of Kinshasa, Minister Téte António said that, topics such as security, the implementation of the 20/63 agenda, economic integration, the financial life of the SADC region, the promotion of industrialization, as well as “a commitment of the Angolan Government focused on sustainable development”, will be on the summit’s agenda.
“During the event, African leaders who contributed to the development of Southern Africa will be honored, namely the first President Agostinho Neto”, said the head of Angolan diplomacy quoted by ANGOP.
The 42nd Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government will take place under the theme “Promotion of Industrialization, through Agro-Processing, Transformation of Mineral Resources and Development of Regional Value Chains, for Economic, Inclusive and Resilient Growth” .
