Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has launched a digital platform for issuing permits for tour operators, which can be accessed shortly on the Portal do Munícipe Online, allowing other operators to no longer travel to Luanda to process this document.
The National Director of Qualification of Infrastructures and Tourist Products, Zaira de Assunção, explained that the digital platform will allow operators to register the licensing process from “their homes, businesses, or even on the beach, provided they have the required documents on the platform”.
According to Zaira de Assunção, the documents required are the location sketch, the plans and all other requirements included in this process.
“Before, licenses were processed at the central level, those of Lubango and Cunene were issued in Luanda”, he explained, adding that “the physical ballot in this first phase will still be issued by us”.
The launch of the platform took place within the framework of the celebrations that will mark the World Tourism Day, celebrated on 27 September.
