Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights has dismissed seven (7) employees of the Notary Office of Viana, in Luanda, for the practice of acts of corruption and improbity harmful to the State,.
According to a press release on Wednesday (11), the dismissal of the workers was as part of the measures to strengthen the legality and moralization of the public administration, carried out by the justice sector.
These are Rooms Fumuassuca Mário (2nd class Notary holder), Alves Mulamba Teresa Agostinho (2nd class Notary), Diogo José Mateus Pascoal (1st class Auxiliary Officer), Asinete Elsa Victor Alexandre (3rd class Notary), Branca Mateus Gaspar Miguel (Deputy Notary), Diamilaine Marta Pereira Garcia Nobre (2nd Notary Member), and Virgínia Carlos Correia (3rd class Notary).
The decision was taken after an inquiry process and the respective disciplinary proceedings initiated against the employees of the Viana Registry Office, which led to its provisional closure, whose steps to ascertain individual responsibilities have already been completed.
The note adds that the records and all the documents that are part of both the investigation and disciplinary proceedings were duly sent to the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), for the opening of the competent criminal proceedings, under the terms of the law.
The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency and respect for the public interest, not tolerating any practices that violate the principles that govern public administration.
