Africa-Press – Angola. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs holds, from this Tuesday until the 13th of this month, in Luanda, its extended advisory council, to analyze the country’s main challenges and perspectives on the international scene.
According to a press release from this ministry, the event, to be held under the motto “MIREX and Angolan diplomatic action in the current international context: challenges and perspectives”, aims at the periodic evaluation of performance in the field of foreign affairs and diplomacy.
Its purpose is also to assess the degree of coordination between MIREX structures and government partners, as well as to plan activities for the current year, reinforce internal organization and analyze the main subjects of international politics.
The work of the meeting will be guided by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.
The extended advisory council of MIREX takes place, in ordinary session, at the beginning of each year and, in an extraordinary way, whenever necessary.
The last advisory council was held in 2019, under the motto “Reform and training, a forward-looking vision”.
