In the same period, 39,000, 211 emigrants from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) were detained and repatriated for illegally entering and staying in Angolan territory.
Still in the context of illegal immigration, he continued, 5,543 citizens of the DRC who were illegally in the country left Angola voluntarily.
Regarding the fight against the crime of fuel smuggling, the official reported that in 2021 786,918 liters of fuel (gasoline and diesel) were seized, destined for the DRC.
