Africa-Press – Angola. Tied at one victory each, 1.o de Agosto and Petro de Luanda will decide at 18:30 this Monday, who will lead the series of five games scheduled for the final in the “play-offs” of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship.

The rider Bruno Fançony, from the province of Benguela, won this Sunday the Youth Grand Prix in motorcycling DT 50 CC, disputed in the municipality of Baía Farta.

In the following places (second and third) were Dabaleza André and Victor Carlos, both also from the province of Benguela.

The race had the participation of 30 pilots from the provinces of Cuanza Sul, Huambo, Bié, Huíla and the hostess.

Bruno Fancony considered the race to be very close, on a demanding circuit with above average riders.

According to the winner, the riders had a competitive level of a lot of adrenaline, but their physical and technical condition of the motorcycle made it possible to snatch the trophy.

According to the pilot, he will continue to work for the next competitions in order to maintain the invesibility.

However, pilot Dabeleza André, who led the race for ten laps, said that technical problems led him to give up the lead.

Dabaleza took the opportunity to launch a cry for help to the local business community, in order to support the modality.

The municipal administrator of Baía Farta, Rosalina Cassissa, promised to continue to support initiatives of this kind, in order to help spread motor sport, one of the great passions of youth.

Waldemar Albano wins cycling competition in the sub-23 category

Cyclist Waldemar Albano, from Escola Pepino, was the big winner of the under-23 closed circuit race, 28 kilometers long, also held at the municipal headquarters of Baía Farta.

Leonardo Valente, from Transchipeta do Lobito, and Rafael Amões, from Escola Penino, occupied the immediate places on the podium.

In the Master 40 category, Walter Pepino was the winner, followed by Carlos Gomes and Damy Gomes.

In the Master 30, Walter da Silva, João Feliciano and Ivan Baptista, were in the first, second and third positions, respectively.

In the cadet category, Diego Pepino was the winner, followed by Alexandre Costa and Edmilson Cravid. CRB

Until today, it is still not known, at least officially, any pronouncement from the management of the two clubs, much less from the Angolan Basketball Federation in the face of behavior contrary to the principles of “fair-play”, as recommended by the Intrnacional Olympic Committee.
