The race, held as part of the celebrations for the day of the Beginning of the Armada Struggle for National Liberation, which marks today, is counting for the fourth and final round of the Provincial Motorcycling Championship, which has been running since July 2022.
In second place was the pilot Juventino Tavares, from Team Red Bul do Huambo, with the same number of points as the winner (41), while his teammate, Joaquim Chiena, occupied the last position on the podium, with 33, in a race which had 15 motorcyclists.
In another category, 150cc FZ motorbikes, the winner was Bernardo António, from the Team Cuando Cubando team, from the province of the same name, beating the other 17 riders in the competition, with 45 points.
In 2nd and 3rd position were drivers Mário Carmelinho and Laurindo Chiendo, both from Team 32 Rosimário, from the province of Huambo, with 45 and 27 points, respectively.

Also as part of the celebrations of the 4th of February, the Friends of the Pedal of the South of the province of Huambo held a cycling race in BTT (All Terrain Bike), in partnership with the Provincial Cycling Nucleus, with the participation of 19 cyclists who competed in the cadet, junior, under-23 and master 30 categories.
The race, held on a 30-kilometer circuit, was won by cyclist Gelson Costa, who covered the route in one hour and 11 minutes, followed by Álvaro Mulunda and David Ukuessela, second and third, with times of 1h13 and 1h16 minutes. , respectively.
By category, Gelson Costa won in sub-23, Álvaro Mulunda, in junior, Castro Jamba, in Cadetes, while Humberto Dumbo was the only cyclist in the master 30.
