Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first provincial secretary in Moxico, Gonçalves Muandumba, reaffirmed, Saturday, in Luena, that the party will continue to work to promote quality of life among the population.
Intervening in the mass act, at the Gimnodesportivo 27 de Maio pavilion, the politician reiterated that the ruling party in Angola will intensify its work, with a view to meeting the expectations of the population.
In the act that aimed to celebrate the MPLA’s electoral victory in the August 24 General Elections, Gonçalves Muandumba, pointed out, among the priorities for the next term, the improvement of the means of communication.
He added, in terms of achievements, the extension of the school and hospital network, the construction of new housing, as well as the improvement in the supply of electricity and drinking water.
To materialize these objectives, he stated that the MPLA will adopt effective, inclusive and participatory governance, relying on the knowledge of different fringes of civil society.
On the occasion, the politician appealed to the population to maintain peace, social stability and avoid misinformation and public disorder.
