The coordinator of the MPLA monitoring group for the province of Lunda Sul, Manuel Augusto, this Saturday called on MPLA militants to mobilize permanently, with a view to the party’s growth.
The leader, who was speaking at the end of the IV Ordinary Plenary Session of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA in Lunda Sul, considered it fundamental that the MPLA militant has an exemplary behavior, inspired by the values of the party.
For Manuel Augusto, the preparation of the next elections has already begun, having advanced that the country may have one before 2027, without specifying.
“In Lunda Sul, we don’t just want numbers of seats in the assembly, but rather, to know if the victory achieved will meet the expectations of the people, above all, of a majority that leaves no doubts”, he noted.
He said that even though the MPLA is in power, there is a need to work more and better, in order to maintain itself and increase the representation of the majority.
Manuel Augusto says he left Lunda Sul satisfied with the work that the party, as a government, has carried out in favor of improving the quality of life of the population.
He recognized the action of grassroots organizations in strengthening the MPLA.
