Africa-Press – Angola. The coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Secretariat of the MPLA Political Bureau to the province of Zaire condemned in the village of Kuimba, located about 62 kilometers from the capital Mbanza Kongo, the practice of acts of political intolerance, “for affecting democracy, peace and peaceful coexistence among Angolans”.

Manuel Augusto commented, in general, on the events that, for a while, have marked political life in the country, with accentuated danger for families and institutions, where he witnessed the vandalization of party institutions. “Political tolerance is a fundamental element for the consolidation of democracy, of peace, and it is the only way we have to guarantee a healthy coexistence among the children of Angola”.

The official, who also works as the MPLA’s Secretary for Foreign Affairs, addressed the militants during the 1st Extraordinary Session of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Zaire, held on Saturday in the municipality of Kuimba, where the guidelines of the party management linked to the mobilization of citizens of voting age, so that they can update their data with the BUAP.

“The MPLA fights for the consolidation of democracy in our country, for this reason, it condemns any act of political intolerance, no matter who practices them”, underlined the leader, making it clear that the members of his party promote coexistence and the debate of ideas. to achieve social development.

The coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Secretariat of the MPLA Political Bureau to the province of Zaire, Manuel Augusto, said that they are mobilizing all militants, friends, sympathizers and those of electoral age to engage in the process of preparing for the elections, in an orderly manner and in a position to exercise their right to vote. “The MPLA counts on all citizens to make Angola more democratic, inclusive and progressive”.

For his part, the MPLA’s first provincial secretary in Zaire, Pedro Makita Júlia, said that the party is focused on solving citizens’ problems, and is therefore concerned with the supply of drinking water, electricity supply, as well as with the commitment to build more schools and roads, aiming at improving the lives of families.

“In Kuimba and other municipalities in Zaire, we are concerned about the supply of drinking water, the supply of electricity, as well as the improvement in the Education, Health and Public Works sectors”, said the provincial political official.

“We came to Kuimba, with the members of the Secretariat of the Political Bureau, to verify the treatment of these issues and, as a result, we received encouragement for the solution, based on the Public Investment Program (PIP), Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM) and in the Program to Combat Hunger and Poverty”, highlighted Pedro Makita.

He appealed to the population to preserve social impact projects, built from scratch or rehabilitated, thinking about the well-being of all citizens, so that, in the near future, they can serve the new generation.
