Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA in Bié, Pereira Alfredo, appealed to the need for younger activists to listen to older ones as well as those who are not part of the structure, aiming to obtain experiences to continue strengthening the party.
Pereira Alfredo, who spoke on Friday, in Cuito, at the New Year’s celebration ceremony, said it was important to reinvigorate the actions of those who once contributed to the party remaining in power.
According to the politician, a member of the MPLA must have the ability to bring together, to look critically at what he does and to continue the action, to safeguard growth in the region.
Therefore, the first secretary of the MPLA in this province called for strengthening the unity and cohesion of the militants, taking into account the upcoming challenges.
On the other hand, Pereira Alfredo asked grassroots organizations to reinforce the mobilization of new militants, especially undecided ones, for their continued growth.
He added that, for this year 2024, the MPLA will hold Balance Sheets and Renewal of mandates in action committees, review conferences in municipalities, the adjustment of internal life instruments, among other regulations and directives to strengthen political work partisan.
