Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA’s first provincial secretary in Cabinda, Mara Quiosa, highlighted this Wednesday the need to revitalize the party’s basic structures and its internal organization, with proximity and follow-up actions.
Speaking at the opening of the 3rd Ordinary Session of the MPLA Provincial Committee of Cabinda, Mara Quiosa said that greater attention should be given to the social organizations of the party, including the female branch, OMA, and the youth branch, JMPLA.
On the occasion, the leader appealed to MPLA militants in the province to work on strengthening the party, with a view to fulfilling the wishes and aspirations of the population.
“The challenges of 2023 will require more work from them, improving their strategy and ways of acting with a view to greater insertion within the communities”, warned Mara Quiosa to those present.
Participants at the 3rd Ordinary Meeting of the MPLA Committee in Cabinda approved the annual plan of activities for the current year (2023) and the Report on the Balance of Activities Developed by the Provincial Committee from May to December 2022.
The coordinator of the follow-up group of the MPLA Political Bureau secretariat for Cabinda province, Pedro de Morais Neto, called for greater commitment from cadres, militants, as well as representatives of grassroots and intermediate organisations.
