The investment in the work of revitalizing basic structures and the holding of review assemblies and renewal of mandates of action committees, to make political-party work more robust and greater social insertion of activists, are among the MPLA’s priorities in the province of Cuando Cubango, in 2024.
These strategic lines were presented on Friday, in Menongue, capital of Cuando Cubango, by the 1st provincial secretary of the MPLA, José Martins, when he spoke at the end-of-year greetings, ensuring that in 2024 everything will be done so that the party continues to be positioned at the top of the political hierarchy in that region of the country.
To this end, he urged the party’s cadres to be more proactive, in order to gain every moment and space among members, friends, sympathizers and the population in general, making the MPLA increasingly firm and cohesive, both in thought as much in action.
In this way, the politician believes, it will be possible to consolidate all the political-party work carried out, both in the electoral campaign in 2022 and in the year about to end and launch the MPLA structures in a constant dynamic of evolution to face the challenges of the present and the future. .
He defined that his party’s priority is the implementation of government actions that enhance the people, with a focus on the social, infrastructural and economic development of the country, in general, and the province of Cuando Cubango, in particular.
“With the steps we are taking in these areas, we will be solving the population’s problems and creating conditions for the MPLA to continue to gain the people’s trust, as the guarantor of the well-being, social and economic stability of Angolans, achieving all the policies that are reflected in its governance plan that the population elected”, he highlighted.
On the occasion, José Martins praised the efforts of all activists, from the leadership structure of the party in the province, OMA and JMPLA, as well as the support of the entire population of Cuando Cubango, which allowed the achievement of the best objectives in the commitment to more work for the aggrandizement of the party.
