Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the MPLA in Huambo province, Adérito Chimuco, this Saturday asked for greater commitment from the militants so that the party can continue to add electoral victories and obtain other political conquests.
The politician, who was speaking at the end of the V Ordinary Plenary Session of the Municipal Committee of the MPLA in Huambo, reminded those present that the results obtained in the general elections of August 24, 2022, despite encouraging the MPLA, call for the need to work more patient and tenacious so that the party continues on the path of victories.
For this purpose, he continued, it is imperative that the militants redouble their efforts so that the MPLA in the municipality of Huambo is stronger and capable of winning victories that are not limited only to electoral moments.
Adérito Chimuco, also coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the Executive Committee of the MPLA Provincial Committee in the municipality of Huambo, recommended the continued implementation of party-political action, focusing on the organization of the party’s base structures and the mobilization of new militants.
“It is necessary to make, more and more, the capacity of action of the party that, along with the conquests of the past, continues to work, aiming at building a better Angola for the good of its children”, he referred.
The politician also pointed out the need for the militants to help the MPLA to support the government’s action that aims to create better living conditions for citizens.
The MPLA’s Ordinary Plenary Session in the municipality of Huambo analyzed the work carried out over the last four months of 2022, the criminal and operational situation of the municipality, as well as socioeconomic conditions.
The members of the Municipal Committee, present at the session, approved, among other documents, the annual action plan of activities for 2023.
JMPLA improve methodological techniques
At the same time, the provincial secretariat of JMPLA in Huambo also held its 2nd methodological meeting on work organisation, within the framework of improving action, in view of current and future challenges.
During the event, led by the 1st acting provincial secretary of the youth organisation, Rufino Evaristo Mutaca, the participants analyzed, among other topics, the procedures and accountability mechanisms, within the scope of the organization’s internal life, control and storage of documents.
Accountability procedures in the field of administration and finance, department attributions, protocol and public relations, as well as the challenges and communication strategies nowadays, advertising on social networks and their attributions, also deserved the attention of the participants.
