The first secretary of the MPLA in Luanda, Manuel Homem, defended this Saturday, in the capital, a more active role on the part of the militants of the various structures of the organization, in the sense of contributing to the reinforcement of its greatness and political leadership.

This assessment was made in Complexo do Futungo II, in the district with the same name, municipality of Talatona, during the opening of the II Provincial Methodological Meeting on the organization of the party’s work.

“We must make this meeting a moment of deep introspection about the path we have traced to the present and where we must go in order to guarantee the best for all citizens of our province and, consequently, the consolidation of the political leadership of the MPLA”, he underlined. .

In light of the difficulties in carrying out current political and party, economic and social activities, Manuel Homem praised the work of the responsible staff and leaders of the party, OMA and JMPLA, in Luanda, who have done everything to keep the organization functional and organised.

He defended the need to reinforce political-ideological work, training militants, especially those joining for the first time, so that they can face future challenges, mastering the “internal life of the party, marketing-politco, statutes, management of social networks and mobilization of new friends and militants”.

Lasting one day, the meeting will be attended by members of the Provincial Executive Commission, municipalities and districts, who are perfecting matters related to organisation, mobilization, social organizations and civil society, staff policy, former combatants and veterans of the country.

They will also receive information on propaganda in the digital area, political and electoral matters, administration and finance, urban organization, among other subjects.
