MPLA praises women's contribution to the country's development

Africa-Press – Angola. The achievements of the women of Bengo in the socio-economic, political and cultural development of the country were praised, in the municipality of Pango Aluquém, by the first provincial secretary of the MPLA, Maria Antónia Nelumba.

The party leader who spoke at the opening ceremony on the day of the founding of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA), urged women to remain firm and confident in the leadership of President João Lourenço.

The provincial secretary of OMA, Mafalda António, guaranteed the unconditional support of the province’s women’s organization to the Executive, in implementing several programs aimed at improving the living conditions of the populations.

The opening of the days that aim to honor the women who contributed to the founding of the MPLA women’s organization was marked with a lecture on the political and historical trajectory of the organization.
