MPLA reaffirms commitment to improving the living conditions of Angolans

Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of Mpla in Lunda-Sul, Daniel Neto, reaffirmed, Friday, in Saurimo, the party’s commitment to improving the living conditions of Angolans, as long as each member, activist, friend, contributes positively so that this desideratum is a fact.

The politician made these words in a mass event that marked the opening of the provincial act launching the process of assemblies for review and renewal of mandates, MPLA action committees and communal and municipal conferences.

He said that the MPLA never abandoned the people, nor gave up fighting for the same people, it was with them in all the difficult moments of its history, fundamentally at a time when the country is experiencing an unfavorable economic situation.

Daniel Neto requested more commitment from the activists, following the current and future dynamics and challenges, requiring dedication, greater dedication and selflessness in complying with the guidelines issued by the party leadership.

He stated that the renewal assemblies should not serve as an obstacle to the development of the party, but rather, those who are elected must work seriously to rescue the mystique, without the need to resort to cronies and relatives, using their knowledge to occupy prominent positions.

“We want to elect into the action committees those activists who are committed to the cause, who intend to work seriously, with responsibility, who are honest and disciplined and who positively influence others”, he argued.

He called on party members to recruit more militants, to strengthen the ranks of the MPLA, as well as to continue mobilizing the population in the great project that the leader has, in terms of resolving the problems that still afflict the communities.

Party members must also constantly innovate, to know how to act with political responsibility, to know how to defend their flag.

The event was witnessed by the second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Lunda-Sul, Octávio Ribeiro, members of the central committee and the Political Bureau of the Central Committee and the Provincial Committee of Saurimo.
