Africa-Press – Angola. The MPLA resolutely rejects the narrative of electoral fraud, because it has worked and remains committed to victory in the upcoming General Elections, said this Monday, in the city of Lubango, Huíla province, the secretary of the Political Bureau for Politics of Frames.
Ângela Bragança, who was speaking at the opening of the provincial training seminar for MPLA delegates, assured that the Angolan people are witnesses of the work that the party has been carrying out. She recognized that the mobilizations that have been carried out reflect well the grassroots work being carried out by the party. The secretary of the MPLA Political Bureau for Staff Policy, assured that the party has been making a national mobilization to meet the current challenges, to guarantee the right vote in the General Elections of 24 this month.
Ângela Bragança, who is also coordinator of the Monitoring Group of the MPLA Political Bureau in the province of Huíla, recalled that it was under the banner of her party that great achievements were achieved since 1975, the year in which the late President António Agostinho Neto proclaimed National Independence , which was followed by the defense of sovereignty and territorial integrity, the achievement of effective peace, national reconstruction and the premises for the country’s development.
He said that the MPLA, throughout this journey, has been referring to what was not good, hence the motto of improving what is good and correcting what is wrong, adopted by President João Lourenço, during his first term about to end. .
During this period, said Ângela Bragança, João Lourenço was seen as a tireless leader to bring great works and achievements to the people, as well as to consider structural programs, namely in the field of energy, water and, above all, in the solutions of the problems of the municipalities.
He regretted the behavior of the opposition, which he called “detractors” of his party, which continues to cling to issues that are already part of the past, such as the case of hospitals that provided services in difficult conditions. “We know that such situations began to be transformed in the municipalities, with the implementation of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM)”.
“In a short time, a lot of work was done, which is why there are more than enough reasons for the people to continue to place their trust in the MPLA and in President João Lourenço”, he said.
The secretary of the MPLA Political Bureau for Staff Policy reproved that clinging to a photograph of the past and bringing it to a different present and, above all, tarnishing a future of well-being and achievements “not home”, adding that “our narrative it is one of growth and improvement, which is the bet of the MPLA leader and the candidate for President of the Republic, who reaffirms every day, with audacity, determination and truth, everything that will be done” in favor of the Angolans.
He acknowledged that the training provided in Huíla is important, so that the fraud narrative, which is being spread by those who did not work, does not take hold. He reaffirmed that the MPLA’s victory is being built every day with hard work.
He said that with the training, the participants will take all the guidelines and bets, through a truth narrative, so that at the polling station the sacred right of the voter is carried out in peace, with responsibility, conscious and without inductions and unconfessed pressures.
Ângela Bragança assured that the MPLA is preparing delegates in accordance with the Electoral Law, so that party inspectors, staff at the polls, help that the process and electoral operations take place with peace and tranquility.
