On Monday, the MPLA reiterated its commitment to continue supporting the design and implementation of programs and projects to ensure a better future for young people and future generations.In a congratulatory statement on April 14, Angolan Youth Day, the MPLA Political Bureau urges young people to adopt ethical and moral conduct reflected in acts of tolerance, recovery of social values, as well as respect for national symbols and preservation of fundamental rights and freedoms.
”The MPLA reiterates that Angolan youth are not only the future, but also a segment of the population, which in the present must take a positive stance in defending the rules of social coexistence, in the consolidation and implementation of the Executive’s actions and programs, aiming to resolve the people’s problems”, the document states.
In the statement, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the MPLA finally calls on Angolan Youth to engage in a deep and reactive introspection on their true role in society, as a factor of solution and participant in the overall development of the Angolan Nation, living up to their effective dedication in the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the proclamation of National Independence.
