Africa-Press – Angola. The first provincial secretary of the MPLA in Bengo, Maria Antónia Nelumba, stressed yesterday, in Caxito, that the party will continue to promote policies aimed at guaranteeing the employability of young people and the well-being of Angolans.
Speaking at the end of a consultation visit he made to the secretariat of the JMPLA provincial committee, he said that the meeting allowed listening to the main concerns of young people and learning about the work they have been developing.
“The youth constitutes an important fringe for the MPLA, in addition to OMA and UNACA in which the party has worked not only for political-ideological education, but also to know how it can increase its technical and professional knowledge”, he underlined. .
In turn, young people presented the first secretary with problems related to the lack of housing, employment, higher education and other opportunities.
The first provincial secretary of JMPLA in Bengo, Simão Júnior, said that the militants expressed their readiness to continue working with other social and youth organizations in order to direct young people from the province to various institutions such as education and professional training.
The youths received the guarantee that the government will work on building more secondary and higher education institutions and on technical and professional training to facilitate employability.
As part of the consultation program for social organizations and party associates, this is the first visit by the MPLA’s first provincial secretary to Bengo.
With the same purpose, Maria Antónia Nelumba visits, this Thursday, the OMA provincial secretariat.
