Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of the MPLA Provincial Committee in Uíge, José Carvalho da Rocha, appealed, this Tuesday, to the activists, cadres and leaders of this political formation for continuous engagement, aiming to solve the main problems affecting the population.
José Carvalho da Rocha made this appeal at the opening of the provincial methodological meeting on the preparation and holding of review assemblies and renewal of mandates of action committees and municipal and communal review conferences.
At the meeting that took place under the motto “MPLA – boost the party’s structures for a better insertion of the MPLA in Society, the politician said that the resolution of the main problems affecting the population involves internal organization, unity and permanent contact with the grassroots.
José Carvalho da Rocha defended the need for continuous mobilization of militants at the grassroots, so that there is a real sense of the state of the party, with a view to strengthening it, in the face of the challenges of the future.
The meeting, led by the first secretary of the MPLA in Uíge, José Carvalho da Rocha, is being discussed about methodology, schedules and actions regarding the preparation and holding of assemblies of militants, assessment and renewal of mandates of the MPLA action committees and the municipal and communal review conferences and directives on the revitalization of party structures, among other topics.
The one-day meeting is attended by members of the Political bureau, the Resident Central Committee and the secretariat of the Executive Committee, municipal and communal first secretaries, cadres and other leaders.
