Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Moxico, Bento Luembe, this Friday in Luena, appealed to party members to intensify the promotion of dialogue on political, economic and social life, for the strengthening of democracy in the country .
The official who intervened in the opening of a cycle of political and ideological training, aimed at the party’s cadres, defended that there is every need to work towards the reinforcement of “proximity democracy” and the culture of participatory citizenship.
According to the official, such initiatives will contribute to improving the quality of life of the population, as well as solidify the MPLA’s brand, “as the best political product of Angolan society”.
For this, he said, it is necessary to intensify the party’s internal actions, in moral and civic education and the reinforcement of knowledge of symbols and ideals, as well as respect for its code of ethics and deontology.
Youth dynamism
In another meeting held with the JMPLA, Bento Luembe appealed to the dynamism and participation of young people from that party structure, in the actions developed by the Executive, for a better response to current challenges.
“The youth of the party must be active, investigative and interactive in order to know how to respond to social challenges”, he reinforced.
