Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the Provincial Committee of the MPLA, Nelo de Carvalho, reiterated Friday, the need for the party’s militants to reinforce unity and cohesion among themselves, aiming to fortify the organization and contribute to the process of moralization of society.
The politician who was speaking on the sidelines of the 5th Extraordinary Municipal Conference for the election of the MPLA’s first municipal secretary of Cangandala, Dilangue Baião, stressed that the party’s leaders and cadres should be models of this desired union, exercising with rigor and responsibility the functions assigned to them. if entrusted.
Nelo de Carvalho also appealed to the party’s militants in Cangandala, in order to support the initiatives of the municipal administration, as well as to promote peace, unity and reconciliation among citizens, regardless of their beliefs.
“Young people need to look at the elected first secretary as a factor of inspiration and believe that with him they can develop the municipality of Cangandala, so they should not lose focus and not let themselves be exploited and deceived”, he stressed.
In turn, the first elected secretary, Dilangue Baião, pointed out the need to comply with the political guidelines on the promotion of unity and cohesion among the militants in the municipality of Cangandala, with a view to allowing the materialization of the governance program aimed at the well-being of citizens’ social well-being.
The Conference was attended by more than 100 delegates, who elected Dilangue Baião to replace Engrácia Ramos.
